I bought this little bowl at a thrift store. It was in a plastic bag with a piece of stoneware. The bag cost under 5 dollars. It is @5.5" across and 2.5" deep. After a little research, am I right in thinking it is Satsuma Shuzan? Meiji period? Would love to know more, but think it is thousand flower design.

The Bizan and Shuzan marks are very similar. if you compare Gotheborg's Bizan with the mark in photo three, there are significant differences. I have this mark a Shuzan.

Ok, thanks all, I did look at gotheborg, but had trouble with the bizan, shuzan and shimazu. Are we still thinking 1912-26 or later? dont know how long shuzan produced pottery. And should it be classified as pottery?
