This has a lot of wear on the main blade, the bore tool was broken and had to be ground and polished (by me) to look better, and the clevis is broken/missing. But this all adds to the knife's history to me.
It can be dated to 1940 exactly, because it has brass lining and nickel silver bolsters, as shown in the excerpt from the original Camillus military order spec sheets.
This one I enjoy just holding, the feel in my hand is almost comforting because it is so tactile!
I will post a part two, to show more information.
I hope you like the original wartime Camillus advert, and the picture of someone suspiciously like Ronnie Regan using one of these knives!
