This is another Promotional bank from my collection, this one was promoted by the"Security trust Company, Saint-Paul, Minnesota, this one was made by the Lodi steel Box Mfg, Defiance, Ohio, before being located in Defiance Ohio, the Lodi steel Bank Maker was located at Lodi, Ohio.
This company not seem to be limited in one particular shape, lodi has a wide variety of model, when i bid this one at auction, I just want so bad, because of is unusual front plate and even better with tha back plate very rare model to find, I've being very please when i receive it, way better then expected, in the front we can read " DEPOSITORY FOR SAVING, SECURITY TRUST COMPANY, NEW-YORK LIFE BUILDING ST,PAUL" and on the back plate --->" -THIS BOX-SHOULD BE RETURNED ONCE AT LEAST EVERY SIXTY DAYS AND HAVE ITS CONTENTS - REMOVED - AND CREDITED"
There not many decor for the lodi Mfg Co steel box, only one, Black polished steel, they use some kind little brush to polished the steel, when you look at close you see hundred of little circular form, very special maker.

This promotional Steel bank stand 3.75 tall, by 4.50 inch wide, 2 inch deep.
