Hello everyone. I had a request to post the "Pin-Set" English variant of the 1936 Mickey Mouse wristwatch. While taking a photo of it, thought I add the group setting, lol. Here's the 1933 pocket watch, 1936 pocket watch, the 1936 wristwatch and a 1933 sale advert. These are all English variants, produced by Ingersoll LTD in Great Britain.
Thanks for looking
Kerry
Thank you Sir Brunswick :-)
Thank you Caperkid & Lucas, always very appreciated!!
Love the set and the fact you have the original boxes. I am impressed with your collection.
Fantastic, have been looking for a pin set without any luck so far.
Thank you rniederman & vonsboy for the wonderful complements and support, very appreciated!!
@vonsboy, I've only seen a couple in all my years of collecting, wish you all the best in your hunt
I've seen them but they haven't been for sale or trade. Also have been looking for the American Ingersoll Mickey store standees, which are all in collections as far as I know, so will not likely turn up.
@vonsboy, you might check with Adam(crazycharacter), possible he might have the standee & would part with it
Already tried that thanks.
What is a "Pin-Set"? Never heard that term before. Thanks so much.
There is a small "pin" that allows the hands to great moved for setting the time.
In the photo showing the wristwatch it is right next to the winding stem.

Gillian, you had asked about "Pin-Set" on my post. It is a watch design, where as you depress the small pin with your fingernail and turn the stem to adjust the time. most watches you either pull and turn the stem to adjust the time, these have small pin sticking up by the stem. Vosboy answered you also, Thanks vosboy, see photo#3 and you will see the small pin next to stem
Thank you FortApache & Sean, ole buddy for all the support, very appreciated!!

Kerry, may I ask the diameter of the English pin set wristwatch case?
Sure, no problem vonsboy, 2.97 cm
Kerry, thank you so much, I'm trying to work out if it is the larger or smaller version of the wristwatch.
@vonsboy, I've never seen a larger variant, with the exception of one listed by our friend on his web page, mickeymousewatches uk
Yes, you are correct.
Thanks to Kerry and Vonsboy for answering the double question. Not sure now why I would ask twice. (An elder moment)
The "bearded Mickey" you are asking about are shown in this listing, the image of
Mickey has a reddened area around his mouth that some think looks like a beard.
Kerry, I hope "Wolfgang" hasn't been causing trouble again and that you are well,
I am haunted by your pin set wristwatch, the difference between the smaller and
larger versions is actually quite small and it's hard to judge by just looking at your
photo and the second hand dial seems different to the usual probably because the
dial and hands are the only original parts of the original watch hence the pin set case. Is it possible it is actually the larger wristwatch do you think?
