I found a very interesting item that I thought I would post and open for discussion to anyone that may know something more about these sorts of things. The title describes what it is. This item is posted not to offend anyone, but to better understand a bit of world history.

Throughout history the Swastika was considered a good luck symbol. Early Aviators even used it as a good luck charm! This all changed with the rise of Adolph Hitler and the negative correlation that is now associated with it.

This token would seem to have been used prior to World War II with the Swastika being seen as a good luck symbol on the coin. Unsure on the exact date, but it would seem to be sometime between 1900-1920. Maybe even in the late 1800's.

Thank you for looking my friends and have a blessed day! : )

Some interesting history on this on how our perception of things can change over time based on events and circumstances:

G.J. Perkins is my wife's GG Grandfather - I would love to know how the coin was discovered, and if any more memorabilia exists from the dry goods store in Hudson, Michigan
