This is a stunning famille rose vase from the republic period 1912-49
HONGXIAN NIAN ZHI. Signed with iron red four character mark. Painted with fine enamels with kids playing in a continuous landscape with rocks and bamboo. Measures 8" X 5".

If the mark tells the truth, it would be very very valuable in today's market. However, I don't believe so, but in any sense, it's still a stunning piece.

HONGXIAN is the reign mark for Empire of China (1915–16), only 1 year short. SO very rare.
