I have just acquired this little beauty, I bought it for NZD$80 locally. Generally in worn condition I just could not say no. Unsure of age but picking it is around 1900-1910 has a serial number under front bobbin cover on main head 3134063, any info welcomed thanks in advance

Thank you both for your commens. It is really nice but my house is small and I love my Singer 27 more. I'm probably going to have to sell it but not just yet!
I lso have this machine and the only other one I have was in shanty Town in Greymouth about 35years ago

I have the exact same cabinet on mine but my machine is slightly different. The
stitch gauge is below where this one is on the base of the machine. It was branded with the Pritzlaff name and sold from John Pritzlaff's hardware in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. His store was open from, 1850 -1958. I recently bought mine in Reno, Nevada also in worn condition. It had been in storage for the past 20 years but it still works. It has the original box of attachments, key to to cabinet lock and some wooden needle tubes.
the woman I bought it from inherited it from her Grandmother who passed in 1990 and had bought it from someone else. She was 90 when she passed. the woman remembered her grandmother sewing on it when she was a child, which would have been in the 1960's.
I know that this is an Eldredge machine put out by National, but I don't know the model or year. I am looking for help on this. I am probably going to pass it down to one of my daughters or granddaughters. Can some pleae help me?
My serial number on my machine is 2740462 with a 6 over top of the first 2.
I forgot to give that information previously.

The best way to get some help in identifying/dating your vintage sewing machine is to create a post of your own with up to four pictures.
Please provide a clear, unobstructed picture of the full front of the sewing machine head, and a clear, unobstructed picture of the full back of the sewing machine head. A picture of the cabinet would be nice just because we like to see beautiful things. :-)
A close-up picture of the serial number would also be nice, although I have to warn you that there is no master database of National sewing machine serial numbers.
Dating National VSMs is approximate, and involves comparison with ones that have already been dated by means such as sales receipts, warranties, family memories, etc.
