Purchased this trunk and want to know more about it. Its lock is stamped Eagle Lock Company. No liner or drawers inside. Missing some leather straps. Wood is in great condition. Leather and hardware are in fair to good condition. Some hardware on back was replaced with phillips screws. Thanks in advance for helping us!
Nice looking "Flat Top" trunk. It is the real thing and was made back in the late 1800's to very early 1900's. It was once canvas covered and, as you stated, had leather straps across the top. I have a few of these in my collection.
