Thank you! I just had someone translate it for me and it's Japanese, specifically Satsuma dating back as early as the 1600's

I have a very similar vase which was my great-great grandmother's. It was one of two but the other one broke. I inherited it from my mother last year. It also has the "speckled" white dots. Would love to know the approximate value. Any clue?
this vase is not antique , probably 1960 =+
this is strange it is inconsistent ,precinct number and factory numbers are IMO chinese, and if numbers they ought to appear in japanese
meaning of the mark is satsuma, this could be spurious
