    Glass bottle, approx. 75cl.

Inscribed "Mumby's. By Appointment to H.M The King"

Cork top with a swastika and "Portsmouth"

Found at my late great uncle's house. He was in 8th Army in WW2 in North Africa and Italy.

I'm wondering if this is worth anything and if the swastika refers to the Nazis or the Indian symbol.

Since Mumby's mineral water was started in 1849, even though it survived after being sold til 1960, it obviously was a pre -Nazi symbol for good luck.

Funny though that the swastika is reversed, like the nazi symbol. The "original" swastika should be mirrored, right? as on this Mumby Bottle: http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r142/oldpots/stuff/mumby_portsmouth.jpg

It has been used both ways throughout history.
