Egyptian silver is normally marked on the front. Check it carefully.

Lol right?! I've had most of these items for 20 years or so. Where on the front and any idea what sort of marking???? BTW thank you for the input!!! Really appreciate it ?

The scarabs are glazed ceramic. Similar here:

So beautiful! When I see pieces like these, I wonder if the owners wear them or tuck them away...I think I would wear them! :)

I have never worn it. But you're totally right!!! It's going to get cleaned and worn ?

Here's a set gold washed. They say it's from 20's - 30s. I think your piece is much later. I love the buttterfly effect of yours. If ound one that is 800 silver.

Normally, the mark (s) would be inside of a square or rectangle. Look everywhere there are flat surfaces. I have an antique scarab ring that has the mark on the side of the ring mounting.

When buying this type of silver you need to be careful. It can look like solid with all the silver shine in the world but it's not. It also has the bells and trumpet ends that move. Look for good movement.
The stones also need close investigation. Some egyption can have real stones, Turquoise or gems like emeralds and saphires, rubies etc but some are glazed ceramic or glass.
The items in total can look fantastic but on reflection are very cheap and badly made.
It's like when you go to China, stay well clear of the Hong Kong gold as it's all plate and rubs off with body persperation.
People will happily buy items like the above I've described as sovenier ware and that's great. Some get seriously ripped off thinking they are buying something that is worth more than it is.
My comments are cautionary and not about the poster or their item posted here. Your item is lovely and I'm sure a most valued family piece. The detail is beautiful and there's been a great attention to craft with the inserts. I wish it were in my family :)
      Anne
