Way back in the ancient 1990s the toy companies discovered that collectors were collecting the toys they had made in the past and started making new collectibles for them. I like how they made a box for this one as matchbox had stopped making boxes for their cars long ago. The box could have been better but the model is great.
In the meantime I freed the model from the packaging. After finding out old toys were collectible people started saving every toy that came out and stored them away in the original packaging. It is unlikely most will keep their original purchase price indexed to inflation.
Anyway this is a very well done model and goes well with my service station model. I also have a tri 5 Chevy from this series I will share later.
Nice. I have a slew of the Premier series as well, nice cars.
I also have a thing for gas stations. Whats the story on this one? I like the old look but not sure about the "Steps" into the garage???lol
Oh, that's really very cool!! I love it!
Can't enjoy them all boxed up! I freed quite a few!
Thank you very much AzTom. It's an HO train building by Tyco. There is supposed to be a ramp. Should be around here someplace.
Thank you very much Scott.
