So I decided I wanted to share some of my moms jewelry since she had a couple of really fab pieces. This was my favorite set to play with when I was a young child. I can personally date it at least 50 years old but I believe its 10 or so years older. When I was little I would sneak into moms jewelry draw and pull this set out. I never wore the necklace as a necklace but as a tiara that would drape down my forehead...funny..my Granddaughter sneaks it out of my drawer and wears it the same when she visits...This is still in amazing like new condition. It is not marked so I have no idea of the designer but would love to know. I believe the stones to be crystal and not glass. Swarvski? Mom was Austrian. The clear rhinestones are as vibrant and flash like diamonds
Swarovski is not the name of the crystals, it's the name of a company. The crystals are Austrian crystals.
This really is a gorgeous set! Crediting it to a maker is nigh on impossible without a maker's mark, unless someone here recognizes the design.

Bonnie, Svarowski sells their crystals to other jewelry makers, so it's fine for them to say the stones are Svarowski. In this case, they may or may not be. In any case, beautiful set and very collectible.

These are so very beautiful! I have nothing to compare but my granddaughter loves to sit at my vanity and try on my jewelry and admire her reflection! I showed her your set and she was quite impressed!
