I am hoping that someone may recognize the odd markings on the internal bowl of this piece. I have never seeing a makers mark like this, especially where it is located. It appears to be a early piece. It measures 5 1/2". This one has me stumped...I would appreciate any help that you may give me.

I've seen silver spoons with markings inside the bowl before, but these marks are so badly rubbed that it's not possible for me to see exactly what kind of marks they are.
