dav2no1 you have done it again! You are amazing! You should be a paid for your knowledge. Unfortunately this item appears barbaric and I am not proud to own it.
Thank you Greenman3000. The stone my be Mexican, but the mark is not typical for Mexican jewelry. I believe that the setting is Native American.
Thanks for the comment Obscure... I didn't take the time to clean it up, so didn't focus much on anything but the stone. It is only marked Sterling. The stone measures 7/8" x 3/4".
The CW community is so awesome! The way that you collectively take on a mystery is inspiring... The way you had me picturing the scene of the owl's use had me intrigued Watchsearcher. I thank you all ...
Thank you dav2no1! I guess the bottom set could be an antique botonadura set. Still not sure, as the usually span wider around the leg of the pant. I really do thank you for the help; Greg
You are awesome Scott! Thank you so much for the help; Greg
I have the exact same buckle with the WHS letters at front. I looked up companies that used the initials, as I figured that this must be a company logo. WHSmith PLC was the result. When I googled this...
Thank you so much, maryh1956 for sharing your time and knowledge so selflessly.
You are amazing!!! Are you going to try your hand at carving them? The fact that you have taken so much time to help someone that you have never met, is a testament to your character. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you so much fhrjr2 for being so helpful. It measures a small 1.25" long and .75" wide.
Thank you so much for the help. I figured that it was used as a tourist reference guide or souvenir. The Washington City must be somewhat scarce; I couldn't find another example. Nothing on a google ...
Thank you antiiquerose, I will try it and hope for a better outcome.
Thank you so much kratango. Unfortunately, I purchased it with the understanding that it was tested at at least .925.
Thank you so much for the insight and for teaching me something new in how to capture a small mark in detail. I think that you will find this shot much better. I didn't see and heading available for E...
You are all such awesome people...Thank you!
I am so sorry; I was just responding without thinking... I am the sole caretaker for my 15 year old boy with severe, quadriplegic cerebral palsy. After the death of my wife, I am unable to work outsi...

Wow! I found a match when I typed "Bisbee Turquoise rough". You were so right Celiene; Thank you!!!!!
I do use those sites as they are a fantastic resource. I still see nothing quite like this. I will research the different variations of Bisbee however. I thank you Celiene for your help!
Thank you all for the comments. It looks about perfect for cigarettes, but I don't have one to measure. The interior measurements of the box is 3 3/8" tapering smaller at the bottom at 3 1/4".
I agree, I was not able to find anything like it after an exhaustive search. I wonder if it has an Egyptian flavor???
The dog tags tags that are shown on the link given from Mott's also have no unit number, just the address and look almost identical. The only difference is the receive reward that is at the bottom. I ...
Thank you Efesgirl! Most likely for coffee or espresso I guess. I just can't figure out why...
Thank you Valentino. I did find out that this was the same seller and all three of these bracelets were traded with other items for dental dental work performed in Jordan. I am relieved...
Thank you Efesgirl! That is it, but I didn't buy the ones shown. I am concerned that the history of the piece may be untrue. I hope I didn't buy a mass produced new item...
Thank you Celiene! What a fine person you are to help me unconditionally!!!
