I purchased this object at a yard sell, where the family was selling off items from the estate of an avid world traveler. I am hoping that someone from the CW family can help me with any information on the piece. It measures 19 3/4" and depicts an elephant and lion fighting at the base of the point. It looks as if it could do as much damage striking and pulling, as stabbing.

dav2no1 you have done it again! You are amazing! You should be a paid for your knowledge. Unfortunately this item appears barbaric and I am not proud to own it.

You're welcome. No shame in owning it. It's possible it was never even used? Items and methods change and adapt over time as does thinking..
