We spotted this cool GB visible gas pump on old Route 66 a few years ago while traveling thru Budville NM but it was definately not for sale. Yesterday after loading up a very cool Shepherds sign pole on our trailer, we finally convinced the pump owner to sell us his cool old gas pump to add to our Free Museum at aaaLakeside Storage. Fortunately for me I had the trailer with the boom and winch on it as I was traveling with my wife & the pump is heavy.

You found a Shepherd pole? Lucky!!! I had a lead on 7 of them but they were already sold and a couple were send to the scrap yard:(

Actually the reason the we even returned to this old Gas Station in NM was to buy the Shepards pole. We had seen it a year ago when we bought the big sign but it was too late & dark to get it out if the dangerous ditch bank it was in. While we were already there dealing on the pole was how we managed to get lucky and buy the pump. The pole is now up and has a Black T Texaco in it at Lakeside Storage right at the entry gate
