Just like graniteware but is a solid color with a different color trim. In this case it is cream with green trim. Like graniteware it is hard to date these as there are no makers mark. Guesstimating 1930s through 1950s.
Not exactly sure how these were used in the day, supposedly they were placed in a sink corner.
I am using mine for all the sink accessories which is a rather motely bunch. The drainer will keep them getting moldy. Always good to get a piece I can use.
I really like this stuff, but the ones I see in the thrift shops are already too beat up. It's a shame. Yours is still nice.
Very nice and a good use for it as well!!!
Great idea -- I could use one NOW in my home !!!!
Somebody can make a lot of money making these today! I also want one!
Thank you very much Efesgirl. It was only about $15 with tax which isn't bad.
Thank you very much TassieDevil.
