Here is my plane lamp I picked up this weekend, a Pan Am Martin M-130 Lamp.
Thanks to AzTom who informed me they are made from they toy Wyandotte airplane.
The base mine is on looks like it is from the example shown below.

Never seen this aviation lamp before. The base was used by different companies also.

      Thank-you Caperkid!
Thank-you PhilDMorris, I hadn't seen one before either.
This is missing the fin on the tail and needs to be re-wired.

Thanks for posting this, yet another variation. I'm guessing a cottage industry type company may have made these. Another thought is the plated one may have been made by Wyandotte Toy as a company award?? and the others copied from that by handymen.
Your plane is in the toy version colors and may have been added to a broken lamp base as in your first link.
I'm keeping my eyes open for one of these planes that needs restored to make me a lamp.
I think someone makes the rear wing.

I can help you locate the rear stabilizer (rear missing wing). In fact, I can even polish one to better match the wing and complete the airplane. I believe these lamps were produced in Canada and they did use Wyandotte Clipper toy stocks.

In fact the toy airplane is of the Martin M-130 used exclusively by Pan Am and any search of Google images with "Wyandotte Pan Am Clipper" will quickly bear this out. BTW, I have the fuselage of one of these lamps currently in my shop. Cheers, Tom (Sandman Overhaul)

Thanks for the offer and information ohmyflyguy! A fellow is making the missing piece for me - I have re-wired it and looks wonderful but will look even better with the missing piece!
