This JIP is sufficiently similar to the other two to leave no doubt that it is Kralik. However the treatment of the top is very different. It has been pulled into a riot of frills.
The spatter is pink, white and pale green but as the base is dark the colours are subdued. The very top half inch or point is missing. The seller didn't disclose this and as it had been polished smooth I didn't notice it at first. See image three particularly.
However I decided to keep it, as by then, I'd come to like it too much!
Height 20 cm./8 inches
stunning jip vase!!! great color as well!!
Lovely comment, SEAN, thank you!
I love the top treatment on this Peggy! It's such a departure from other JIP'S I've seen... I would have kept it too!
Good morning, Rick. Nice to see you again....perhaps you've been away on a world cruise :). Seriously thanks for a great comment!
What a vigor : up,down,turn,wave...Gentle colours are contrary to this energetic shape.Love it very much!
never saw one onlive
I love the way your comment describes the vase so well, Ivonne. Thank you!
kivatinitz, I'd never seen one before this one either. I think it is totally random what survives and whether it gets into the public domain.
Oh, this one is so fun! I love all the ruffles; I am so glad you decided to keep it - I love it, too! :)
Hi, Michelle. Fun's the word.....I think it's totally OTT!
Thank you for the loves, everyone! It's thanks to freiheit that I realise I hadn't thanked you all.
