    This abstract Murano sculpture is entitled "Tango Dancer" by Murano Glass Master Oscar Zanetti circa 1970's. It's made using the massello technique where full, not blown glass is processed under heat by modelling a block of glassy mass applied over the tip of a metal rod. The type of glass is called Calcedonia - a vitreous paste with multi-colored vanes imitating natural chalcedony, zoned agate. As you can see by the pics, the colors are amazing! This is a huge piece measuring 20" and weighing 20 lbs. Thanks for looking.

    Thank you guys who sent emails making sure I was O.K. It meant a lot to me!

      Wow, 20lbs is crazy! This must be awesome in person...I know what you had to make room for tho!!! haha I'm sort of close to Knott's Berry Farm and as a kid I used to love standing there watching the glass blowers. Everything they made was tiny but amazing! Needless to say, I loved watching that video linked to you.

      Oh wow, I also see three months ago and you got better. That's a great thing too.

      Thanks so much for the great comments and love Tonja, Gary and Share, and thanks to all of you that loved, I was really late on this one :-)

      @Gary... That's really cool! I appreciate the link, and of course we're going to check one out :-) Thanks so much!

      @Share... Thank you I appreciate that :-) Yeah 20 pounds is heavy, but as you know the aquarium is much heavier, and I have a Barbini Murano fish that's more than that although I have no clue how much, but I know it's heavier :-)

      strange way to do research , the question ought to be are there coming blanks from 010 factories

      question 2 is this base used conform the zanetti bases

      question 3 is the massello technick limited to zanetti

      1= yes
      2=yes
      3=NO

      it highly likely is ok , but you can,t extrapolate by means of one determinant
