From an estate sale in Houston. No information available. Marked Ming, Wanli reign but I know that doesn't mean it's so. About a foot tall. A free oral appraisal put the value at about $3,000 three or four years ago. Later another guy said it was worth less than $200. Anybody got any ideas. I haven't found another one like it anywhere. I'd call it nice pottery not porcelain. I mainly want to know its approximate age and where it was made. Would appreciate any help I can get.
actually i thought i could read chinese , well thats that seems to be megalomany of mine apparently , because this is hard to read ,
a sort of Chongzhen 1628-1643 ( long shot ) even when it might be real , i think there is almost no market for this , i don,t think it is much value
they stilized it wrong , it is ineed wanli, i ran the bottom and the sedimentation is is total bogus
