This is a Miller-Knuth reciprocating power hacksaw found at auction. It has a Dayton 1/2 hp motor. The only info I have is that it was made in the 1950s or '60s, that it was also branded under the name Sawmaster, and that there are at least two different motor configurations, this and an under mounted motor version, manual here; http://www.rustyiron.com/literature/Sawmaster_Power_Hacksaw.pdf
A new wire to the motor, and some 90 weight in the oil pots (I love oil pots) and it's running great. The little touches like the engine turning on the back of the saw bar and the little spring caps on the oil pots (love them oil pots!) are what set tools like this apart from the current crop of plastic fantastic junk.
