i found this large bowl at urban ore in berkeley today. it's 14" across. the faces are not very individualistic, so i know that it isn't a super fabulous piece, but maybe w/ a little luck it is republic. what do you think?

Would it not be famille Jaune instead of famille rose. I always thought it was the predominance of the main color in the plate that dictated the style/name. Bob
no, i don't think so LOUMANAL. most Famille Jaune is actually Famille Rose w/ a yellow background. but good question!
I suppose that it's the family (people) itself that has to be "Jaune. RER
