I've had a pair of amber glass torchiere lamps for about 15 years. They stand about 5'7" tall, and have green over braze patina. Each has beautiful amber glass shades and teardrop beads. All are in perfect condition, though I am missing one bead. I know they came from an antique store in the midwest, but I don't know anything about them or if they are even old. There are no markings. Has anyone ever seen anything like them, or have some background knowledge they can share? I really appreciate it!
I know were I seen lights very close to this.. Catholic Church Sanctuary Lamp
Even seen some as Kid in Funeral Parlors
A photograph of the plug could be helpful if not rewired.
@Dizzydave - Can you explain what you mean by "Kid in Funeral Parlors."
Old Funeral Parlors, viewing the deceased. They would have the Amber Glass Floor lamps for each side of casket. I remember them in the South as a Kid.
SpiritBear…..I've included a photo of the lamp base. Any clues?
Thanks DizzyDave for the insight! I'm digging deeper online and will let you know if I find anything to confirm these could have come from a church sanctuary (asking my parish priest!) or a funeral parlor.
