These German Student Fobs show up here once in a while as what-is-it's so here is one I have with a picture of one being worn by a student in uniform.

He is certainly proud, and very impressive. Around what year would this be? Did he become Hitler's soldier??
This photo would date from the mid 1920's. If he was still alive, healthy and living in Germany during WWII he would have been drafted into military service of some sort as they were drafting any male from age 12- 70 by the end.
