This a dragon statue situated at my grandfather house in the 1940s.
I remembered it as a tall magnificent statue when i was a little girl. Many years later as an adult when i come back to the same spot it appeared smaller and rather normal looking to me.
Was i idealising or romanticising the past too much that somehow made today's reality and truths seem so harsh.
Still, i often revisit this place- even in my heart.
I love dragons, and this is simply fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
This is sooo cool.....would love one in my garden. A wonderful memory for you.........

Fantastic! He does seem huge! Is he covered in porcelain pieces?
hi kyratango u asked the most important question! You ll never guessed its made out of broken chinaware and cutlery:)))
Wow - I wish I had one of those. Houses that I lived in when a child seemed quite large to me, now when I see photos they appear much, much smaller.
Great!!!
You may Google images for "MAISON PICASSIETTE", same technique, amazing work!
:-)
@Gillian:yeah! that's why i hope to never lose a sense of wonder
