    Hi!

I recently bought this chair in a "tianguis" (mexican street market) but the designer or brand seems to be american.

It's made of dark wood (looks like walnut or oak) and black leather.

I'd like to know more about it. If anyone recognizes the brand I'll really thank you!

The more I know about my collectables the more I love 'em.

Hi and Welcome. Looking around some here and NOT sure yet but could it be V.B. WILKINS furniture ??? Just throwing that out there right now....still digging around here!!

      Hi @antiquerose!

I don't know, in the VB logo on my chair the V looks more like a Y to me, plus the logos and prints of the VB WILKINS furniture often reffer more to the name of the piece of furniture itself than to the VB brand, so there's that.

But it does kinda look Wilkinsy if you ask me. Gotta keep on searching to crack this mistery!

      Thanks! Let's keep looking!

I got it. It's a mexican brand of furniture founded by a german who studied in the Bau haus. The name is Van Beuren

      Van Buren?
On a side note antiquerose, I found my G plan dining table on your link, which my sister gave me, and I had shipped here. G plan was from the UK and usually teak

Yes Maryh1956! It turns out my friend's boss saw my chair on facebook and he recognized it instantly, he even offered to buy it but I plan on keeping it. Thank you anyway for you time, it's good to have confirmation.
