    i bought this old Mexican mask from someone selling on the sidewalk here in my neighborhood. i think it's an old one from 40s-60s. what do you think?

      Hard to say because these folk pattern designs didn't change a whole lot. I am 1 hr. from Nogalas, and I do see a lot of this type tourist item.( over the last 57 years) Still fun and exciting!

      thank you PostCardCollector! i'm pretty sure that this is from Guerrero from the dates i stated. i've been collecting it for awhile and recognize the stylized rabbit and other forms which aren't really made like that anymore.

      Don't know how I missed this Ho2. The Decoration is superb! Very nice piece!

      It is hard to give a timeline but I think that if you take a real good look at it...the newer ones look more on the perfect side. The artwork is called fantasia I believe. Fantasy or fantasia..maybe both.
