Hello again CW friends!!
I just posted the English leather steamer trunk that I just completed. Here is the complete interior. As I stated in my last post, this was manufactured in England in the very early 1900's. I'm always excited when I find one with its' complete interior. Especially, when the interior is so clean and requires nothing more than a good brushing out.
As I mentioned in my previous post, this trunk once belonged to Mr. & Mrs. Albert B. Jacob, of Hilltop Farm, Jamaica, VT. The initials A.B.J. are still retained on the trunk lid and to my surprise, there is also a tag inside the trunk with their name and address on it. How cool is that??? For any trunk collector, to find initials and tags like this are just one of the best things you could find!!

You are correct, it is linen! Amazing that it has survived all these years. But, evidently was keep closed all these years. The exterior was in horrible condition when I bought it. Thanks for the love and for stopping by. Always so very truly appreciated!!!!
