Sprenger’s Beer Porcelain Sign

Here is a Sprenger’s Beer Porcelain Sign from the Sprenger Brewing Company located in Lancaster, PA. This Sprenger’s Beer Porcelain Sign is from the 1930’s era and is in very good condition for it’s age. This sign is single sided and measures approximately 47? X 30?. This sign would have been hung outside of a bar or tavern either mounted above the door or displayed on a post. In some cases neon tubing would be wrapped around the border of signs like these just to make the sign pop out to patrons.

Items like this are getting harder and harder to find these days. It’s amazing that this Sprenger Beer Sign survived the test of time even though the back of it looks like it was used as a shooting backstop at one time. Large Sprenger Brewery items like this porcelain sign are generally hard to find.
