I acquired this gorgeous Wedgwood jasperware bowl this week from our local market. Its very large, 8" across, and 5" tall. It is decorated with 20 Dancing Hours figures. It does has a chip on the base, but I found that interesting because it shows the bowl is solid Jasperware, not dipped (dipped is coloured white then dipped into a colour, so a chip would show white). I think the date is 1985 - the number to the left of made in England is the date. The letters on the left are probably the potters initials.
Sweet, I have been appreciating things like this a lot more recently. I don't think they are made anymore. Nice find, I would have snatched it up.
Gorgeous bowl!!!
