I was wandering round a car boot sale this morning, and spotted this uranium glass bowl. I assumed it is a sugar bowl, but can't actually find one similar on the net. it has 3 feet, and a square block type pattern. there is a black speck that seems to be encased in the glass. Any help would be great. (It's 5" across and 3" tall).

Reminds me of Fostoria, but cant say for sure. Very nice.

I live in UK, so it's more likely to be British made, though I have come across other American made glass here.

Davidson "Jacobean" or Inwald "Lord" (aka Milord). Hard to tell as the pattern was widely used by many companies. Davidson pieces normally have a Rd number, whereas Inwald pieces tend to be finished to a better standard, i.e. polished feet (in this instance). I will look at my Czech catalogues and see if I can find a footed sugar and let you know.

Thanks Deltab. It doesn't have a rd no., but I was surprised I couldn't find more info about it. I will try again with your info.
