Yeah, it is still in ok shape for being dug up. It is a pretty common 7up bottle. It's hard to read the codes on the bottom. Your pic is a little blurry. But it is probably from the 40's or 50's. What is the number to the right of the 'owens illinois' mark. And does it have a dot after it?

      It was made between 1939 - 1953.

Thanks for your response Iggy the number to the right of the owens symbol is 5.
    4. pratherp pratherp, 8 years ago
After the owens symbal is a 5 and a dot.

      That would signify 1945.

The bottler's name eas not included on the back it was embossed on the base, back label #1 was probable only used in 1937 and 1938. 7-Up bottle. co. gftzgerald ga. macon ga. montgomery ala. Albany

Date codes on bottles don't lie. Duraglass was used by Owen-Illinois in the '40s-'70s only, plus the date-code makes it 1945.

I'm sorry for the bad info on the bottom. of the bottle. There is no dot behind the 5 does that make any difference . thanks.
