I have seen and admired this decor many times over the years most often on lamp shades and occasionally on small (over-priced) vases. So when this came my way at a great price I snapped it up. When I look at it I'm reminded of Africa and safaris....if you get my meaning.
It's multi-layered with a black/grey kind of floral burst print over a yellow and orange splatter. The knob is blue, although it's hard to tell from the images. It's a bit of a whopper too. 5" (13cm) high and 6" (15cm) wide.
Unusual decor, beautiful find.
