LOUMANAL
(436 items)
My wife and I decided to clean up the downstairs "Man Cave" so we set up outdoors today at a local Flea Market to sell some antiques and we were able able to dispose of a percentage of what we brought. However, a nasty storm cloud came and went and left everything wet and miserable. Since we hadn't brought anything to wipe the glassware and jewelry, I went inside the market to try to buy tea towels from the permanent dealers.
As I walked by a new dealers' booth, I noticed this fantastic Vase which she had properly labelled as Loetz and which she had priced very fairly. I walked out without the tea towels but with this beautiful perfect condition Loetz Titania vase. My wife was not impressed but I certainly was. It was what I consider a Heaven-Sent shower and a wonderful addition to my collection.......made my day! The information on the vase is not complete since I don't have any of those expensive reference books on Loetz. I saw a similar bowl in the LOETZ and BOHEMIAN GLASS site that described it as "Titania Orangeopal Mit Grun". It has beautiful dimples, a polished recessed pontil and measures 6 1/4" by 4". If you can add information, I would appreciate your input. BOB

You really don't need the expensive books just "flip through the pages" of Loetz.com. Like the books, it takes a bit of time to do the research but the information is there and it's FREE! Great example of Titania Gre 2534.
