make made in italy thats all i know ..it's very heavy made of steel ...not sure if the glass is milk glass ...not sure when it is from ...made of steel ...the size is 32x13 need help

I think your hanging lamp is in the Brutalist style. Originating between the 50's and 70'. It appears that many pieces allow you to see its structure inside and out side, thus making the point that beauty should come from within.

'Brutalist style'..that made me smile :) I've not come across the term before but is very apt here. It's brutally bold. So Unique, I love it! I wouldn't be at all surprised if it were worth $$$

Unique and as previous posters have stated, definitely Brutalist. It brings to mind Marcello Fantoni a bit; this lamp is definitely not by him, but if you look up his designs, you can see the way it has a bit of the same vibe.
And in any case, this is a gorgeous piece! I'm in love with the delicate corset-like lacing of the glass and the contrast it forms with the metal...
