I purchased this bowl from a dealer in mixed wares. It is 6 3/4" in diameter at the top, 3 1/2" tall. It was molded/thrown by hand. The base was finished with a tool that incised the clay. There is a roughly incised spiral in the center of the base. I would love to know where and roughly when this was made. On-line research suggests this is Swatow ware from China.
