Does anybody recognize this art pottery? From afar looks like trees to me. There is a signature and I tried researching but can't come up with a name. It is signed 2011 so it is recent. I just loved the look of the trees, if they are trees?? That is why I bought it. Inside has ridges and is dark brownish with a swirl on the bottom. About 7.25 inches tall. Any help identifying this piece is appreciated.
It is beautiful, they do look like trees
Thank You! I thought so too. I love trees. There is a birch tree wall paper that I covet! sigh....
This FB group may be able to help you identify the signature:

this reminds me of some awaji pieces. i know that it isn't, since it's much newer and the glaze doesn't have the right finish, but look at this piece: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/418694096590213094/
Hi , thanks to both of you, for Facebook link and for the pinterest link. Yes it does look like that pin and I will try the facebook group!! Much appreciated. New to collecting glass and pottery, loving the mystery of each piece, all help is appreciated
Hello. I believe this is from a western PA potter perhaps around Titusville. Bought a few pieces of his in Meadville,PA. For some reason I thought he workked at Campbell pottery, Edinboro,PA. then went on his own. Remembered he had an interesting firing process. Had a card in one of the pots but cant seem to find it.
Thanks for sharing that information, hobodave. :)
Hi Hobodave, yes you are right. I found out his name Frank Stofan! Thank you!
I really like this!
