SpiritBear
(813 items)
North Western Brewery out of Chicago, Illinois, circa 1898-1909.
A handful of what they sold is seen on the tray.
A nude Native woman with a banner riding a bison across the plains is the scene on this one.
Tray made in Coshocton, Ohio.
I'm from there, and ride bison across the plains (Hee,Hee) but, I never heard of that beer. Probably changed their name to Tavern Pail (pale) or Blatz, or one of the others floating around Chicago.
olebodie, I'm told it's a pretty hard tray. I saw one other, which was restored, when looking it up.
PostCardCollector, can I pet the bison? :P

I avoid cages, unlike Monarch the Bear who ended up in one.
Nice. Definitely one I would like to own.
Great tray SpiritBear - A keeper for sure.
Thank you both. As it's not Michigan, though, when I find it's real value I'll list it for sale. My interests mainly reside in Michigan stuff.
