This is a sculpture by Pino Signoretto. His work is some of the most sought after and prized of all Murano glass. It was formed entirely by hand from a molten piece of glass. It's a large piece measuring 9.5" H x 6" x 6" and weighs 12 lbs. As always, thanks for looking.

Sheer talent, made very obvious by the use of a one glass colour.
It must be a treat to hold and turn and examine.

You're welcome, anytime :-)

Hi, Rick. I'm wondering how you made the attribution to Pino Signoretto, may he rest in peace. I have a pair of figures like yours, but they are unsigned. I bought them in an auction two years ago, and they were sold without attribution. I just liked them. Since the Maestro Signoretto has passed, his work has been celebrated in the glass world, and I have come to wonder if my campesinos (farm workers) are done by his hand. I am primarily a Swedish glass collector, so the world of Murano is not my forte. I appreciate your help - I'll post my pieces on my page.
Kiki Smith ordered glass , i believe but it never made made the USA
you got a very good collection , but this is just uomo seduto
no sweat but one of us is making an alleged fallacy
