    This is probably a modern vase or maybe art deco - not sure. But i don't particularly like that weird seam across the base. i got it at Goodwill and i think it's very attractive, but probably nothing very special. it stands a little over 9" tall. Asian-style? Art deco? what do you think?

      I think it's very pleasing to see. Perhaps mid-century.

      Mid-century, this shape was made by Roselane of Pasadena, California - possibly a factory second, they were usually a little more careful about their product. They contracted ware to the Weil Import Company and it is often found unmarked.

      thank you artfoot and Efesgirl. Roselane does make sense. the piece is very nice, it's just that seam at the base which isn't so nice.
