This is the vase that started my interest in Art Glass.
I saw it at an antique store while I was on vacation, but I didn't know anything about art glass. I didn't buy it that day, but I did get the sellers contact information.
After returning from the vacation, I did some research and decided the price was reasonable. So I contacted the store owner, mailed a check, and they shipped it to me. 17 years and about a hundred pieces later, it is still one of my favorites!
The vase measures about 8 3/4" tall and is 2 1/2" at the top and 3 1/2" at the base. The base has a ground pontil and it is in excellent condition to include all of the "barbs" on the sides.
These are usually called Stevens and Williams, but believe that many are actually Harrach in origin.

It was a pleasure Scott, thanks for sharing :) It's interesting yours is identical in every way except has red cherries, like the basket I have posted. They reflect the light and stand out more than the 'solid' pink ones, I'm not sure which I prefer,,neither, they're both nice.
Thanks much ironlace!
