Fenton tall vase, 13-14" tall made of amberina (red to yellow) glass. Wonder why it's called a "swing vase"? Do they swing the hot glass to pull the shape longer? I've looked at lots of these online but no two are exact. The tops vary quite a bit so must have been hand pulled while the shapes of the bases and the wider part of bottom of vase are clearly molded.
If you see a dark spot in the glass that's because my mother used this as a bud vase and there is a bit of dry leaf down inside.
I don't know when this was acquired but it has sat in my mother's collection of ruby glass for probably 30 years. Her definition of ruby glass was loose, and Fenton, Avon and plastic shared the shelf, sharing the same color.
