This summer I bought this green glass and goldtone metall filigree necklace of wonderful quality. The man who hade the antiquestore said it was from 1920's. Is that right? I believe it´s czech. Sometimes I see similar necklaces and people say they are Art deco.
Do you think it´s Art deco czech and from the 1920,s? It´s short and not at all "flapper" long that I would Think of for the 20's.
Elisabethan, this is such a pretty necklace, the colour of the glass beads are a very pretty colour.
Thankyou peasejean for your nice coment, I do love the color.

Yes, it could be art deco. I've seen Czech art deco necklaces at 15" long. What kind of clasp has it got? It's a lovely necklace.
I got stuck on Etsy last night looking at vintage, nuveau etc. gorgeous Czech glass beads and pendants. So beautiful. One vend0r had a photograph of the original wrapping they were shipped in. What is that makes Czech glass so wondrous?
these are so very lovely and beautiful!!
This is beautiful - love the colour!
I have seen some similar necklaces and they all say 1920's art deco czech. Like this one:

I think mine is to even if it's not long. It might be right that it might have been worn together with a longer flapperlenght necklace.
Thankyou Gillian. It has the same clasp as the necklace in the pin I linked to.
Thankyou Sean, lentilka and Valentino!
Thankyou also vintagelamp, Onegoodfind, Racer4four, clementine and melaniej and anyone I might accidentaly have forgotten to mention. Thankyou!!
It's lovely, are the stones crysophase?
I have a number of art deco necklaces that are quite short, about 16" long.
Hi pebble! I think this is glassbeads and I have seen similar color glass bead necklaces where the seller have called it "chrysoprase glass bead necklace". So I see what you mean. Interesting that you have several short art deco necklaces. I guess lenght is not a great way to edtimate the age of a necklaces.
Thankyou mikelv!
