love these cactus. only found these at the market. don't know what they are called. beautiful colors. want more. imagine a garden full of them. can i clone them. will they clone from dropping color ball bits?
i know this site will find me an expert. always does. love it.
thanks in advance.
why can i never find a catagory?
Wow, these are incredible looking!! Such vivid colors.
Love these!
It appear they are grafted plants, the colored one having no chlorophylla grafted on a common cactus.
Found only for the moment a link in French...

Ho2cultcha will have an expert advice :-)
I have blooming cactus in my front yard-- GLORIOUS, but they bloom hardy ever--when they do, I feel like celebrating. Yours are special!!
thanks guys, especially kyratango.
i read the artical and have attempted to graft some myself.
hope it works. dont see wgy not. will take a couple of month before i will know.
will post if it works.
Thanks for the thanks ;-)
I'll love to see the result of your grafting!
PostCardCollector, some cacti bloom only once a decade. As hardy as these plants are, they are fairly temperamental. And it seems that the more care given, the less they like you. LOL.
I just feritilise mine and repot occasionally (they need room to grow).
