This is an amazing piece, I think this is turkish or ottomans... It should be from 1920's...

it can be ???? in arabic letters which means 6951 in latin... but they read from right to left so it can be 1596 (it can't be a date though)

I have never been to a auction but would love to one day
I do find myself looking more at the older things than the new some things that I do end up with are the ones that should have stayed in the family
The antique Chinese enameled with amber is silver I think
It has a mark on it that makes me think that’s what it is I do have pictures of it up if you would like to see them maybe you could tell me more than I see Thank you

The crescent and star are associated with the Ottoman Empire and ancient Turkey.
The crescent moon and star have come to be associated with Islam, like the cross is to Christians and the Star of David is to Hebrews. It could have been made in France or UK maybe, but it is definitely has been made for Ottomans.

      Hello,

I know that a crescent moon was often used in Victorian English juwelry. So I believe the hallmarks are ct. which means Kt and it is a solid gold brooch with also often used seed pearl of the Victorian erea.
