I found this plate last week at a thrift store and liked the colours, so I picked it up.
Earlier this week, Ho2cultcha's plate made me want to post this.
It is obvious the plates came from the same region, as the paint/clay is identical and the designs are similar. They are both Japanese.
Ho2Cultcha's plate:

Date unknown.
this is a great plate! if you can, post it to the FB Collecting Japanese Ceramics and Art page and you'll get lots of pro [and some non-pro] feedback.
Thank you, ho2cultcha. I'm afraid I don't have an FB.
Oh holy cow, you got a very good piece here, Spirit Bear. If you don't mind, I'll post to the FB group page, and let you know what they say.
Sure, thank you.
Did they get back on it?
i think it's late edo - but a very nice Imari plate!
i meant meiji, not edo. it's edo-style though.
Thank you, Ho2Cultcha.
this could be earlier - worth getting it checked for sure!
Sadly it remains undisplayed as I don't have enough picture hangers. LOL.
i dont know this combination, maybe the rim was skinny brown and is discolorated,
and i am missing the gold/ copper gilt, i think its made before 1850, because of the amounts of spurs on the bottom (the tiny dots ) i think it might be 18 century , but i can,t substantiate
this is 18 century this is an equivalent of the chinese counterpart of Amsterdams Bont i think
