In btween the R and the T in the word liberty you can see a messup print idk if this is a mintmark error or a fallen letter, i believe it could be a mintmark S thats meant to be behind the neck of jefferson but idk much about the mint yet im new at coin collecting, i just noticed it in my pocket chsnge and its not on any of my other 1974 nickels which usually has an S or nothing but no mark inbetween the R and the T so please if you have any information on what this means that would be sweet
Or it could be a D mintmark
The die used to strike this coin was damaged causing a small crescent shaped gouge which in turn resulted in some raised metal which looks like some kind of mark.
