Some car boot finds for a total of £6.
The three-tool knife measures just 2 1/4 inches closed, the clip point blade is 1 1/2 inches long. The maker is Richards of Sheffield.

The (faux?) mother of pearl handled one was probably a free gift for a purchase at the company who's name is barely legible on the handle.
"N. (north) Craven Marine, Skipton 2929". The company still trade, but the short four-digit phone number means this knife probably dates to around 1960.It measures 1 3/4 inches closed, the tools measure 1 1/8 inches, and is simply marked as Sheffield and Stainless Steel.

The largest one at 3 inches closed with the larger blade being 1 3/4 inches
is a piece of company advertising for Hallite Holdings Ltd. in Middlesex, UK. They made hydraulic and pneumatic synthetic seals.
Company first registered in 1969, so I would date this one as 1970's.
    Makers name is illegible.

    Thanks for looking guys.

Nice blades, Bob, particularly the Richards. I have a Richards hobo with red metal scales and stainless bolsters. It's the Mrs.'s favorite knife out of the 500+ in my collection. [;>)

Thanks KJ, that one was the cheapest one at £1.

      Thanks everyone for the loves.

Hey bobbee, I really love the little dress pocket knives. :^) Most have brand new blades, and a very worn case, from years of carrying them, but never using. The knives, must feel unwanted! LOL

      You are so right Bill!
I have another identical to the Hallite advertising one (somewhere) and the blades are totally untouched and like new, very sharp indeed.
